Connie is a stunning 8-year old 16.3hh bay mare; her lineage includes Clover Hill and Landgraf. Full details on request. Elegant and flashy with a beautiful head, super free paces and a straight powerful movement, she always attracts attention. Whether as an event horse or purely in dressage, this horse will go to the top.

Connie competed in British Dressage last winter, and always finished in the top three with at least 65%; we have her test sheets. She has qualified for Hickstead, both in the unaffiliated Preliminary and Novice SE regional championships, and in the British Dressage Masters League, and has part-qualified for the BD regionals at Novice level. Last year, she jumped British Eventing Novice courses with ease, with scores in the 20s. She shows excellent technique over a fence with a huge amount of scope; 1m30 is not a problem for her.
She loves doing XC and nothing fazes her; she jumps everything she’s pointed at, including water, skinnies, corners and big hedges, and has hunted with the Crawley & Horsham. Here is a very recent short video of Connie finishing cross-country at Wivelsden (came 7th; went 9 secs too fast!).

She is always ridden in a snaffle, with a soft mouth, is super-trainable and willing in all disciplines. She has a very kind nature and is excellent to do in all ways.

She is fully vaccinated/ wormed/ teeth/ farrier etc. Her owner has had back problems over the past year, and this has prevented her from developing Connie to her full potential. She now needs a professionally-minded, ambitious rider to bring her on to achieve the success she deserves. Video of gridwork practice on 27 July.

BLIND AMBITION (Stable name XL)

Bay gelding, 10 years old, 16.2 / 16.3hh British Warmblood

XL was in livery at our yard for over a year, but his owner had no time to ride him. But he has now been back in work for two months, already has a great attitude to work and is enjoying being ridden again.

He shows excellent lateral work in walk and trot, and improves every time he is ridden.
He would compete at Elementary level, and has previously jumped Newcomers (1.10m) BSJA, with winnings on his record. He has also evented up to BE Novice level.

XL is safe and sound, no problem to handle and would make an excellent all-rounder/ RC horse/ hunter. XL is by Olympic dressage stallion Dutch Gold, and his grandsire was Dutch Courage. £4,250 ONO

Very handsome, straightforward all-rounder, with three correct balanced paces and a lovely technique over a fence.

Safe and sensible with a fantastically genuine temperament, a true gentleman in every way. Bombproof to hack alone or in company; would make an ideal RC/PC/hunting horse.

Easy to handle on/off ground, travels well, good to load, shoe, clip, and catch.

He has been vaccinated and wormed regularly, and is in livery at Dragons Green, with excellent trial facilities.

Biscuit

TBX bay gelding, 15.3hh, 7 years old

A smart little horse, he would make an ideal PC/ RC / first horse or family share. He’s forward-going but never fast or strong; 100% safe and genuine.

He show-jumps and has been xc schooling, very honest, never stops (even when it goes wrong!) Snaffle mouth at all times. Biscuit would make an excellent little hunter; he hacks alone or in company, goes first or last. Very good at gates!

Biscuit needs a home, and is for sale through no fault of his own.
